Executive Chef Josh Marlowe
Chef Josh Marlowe began working for Watermark and The Fountains at Boca Ciega Bay as the Sous Chef in April of 2010. Just days shy of his one-year anniversary he was promoted to Executive Chef. Josh is the father of two little girls, Lylah and Jazzmine, ages 2 and 7. He has an Associate’s Degree in culinary arts from McIntosh College in New Hampshire and attended Le Cordon Bleu of North America. Josh’s motto is, “You are what you eat.” He believes if you eat well early in life it will help you live longer and since coming on board at The Fountains he’s made strides with his staff to cut back on salt, cholesterol, fat and unnecessary calories in food preparation. Josh says, “By providing healthy choices through our menus we can make a significant contribution to the quality of life of our residents.”
Food is such an important part of our lives. It provides nourishment and strength, brings people together and when it tastes delicious, it leaves us feeling happy and satisfied. The idea behind a healthy diet is to eat whole foods that come from the earth with little or no change by man and to get the vitamins and minerals our bodies need through our food and not from vitamin supplements or medication.
