Dining at Rockland Place isn’t what you’d expect from an assisted living community. In fact, we think you’ll be amazed. Do you expect your meals to be prepared by a skilled Chef in whites? Graciously served by friendly staff with impeccable attention to detail? This isn’t a dining room in a retirement community, it’s is an evening spent at one of your favorite restaurants!
Not in the mood for a sit down meal? Stop by our Victorian Tea Room for a coffee or afternoon of Earl Grey. Have a seat and linger a little longer with your favorite newspaper or catch up with a friend. Of course, you can always prepare a snack or a light meal in your apartment, just how and when you like it. At Rockland Place, the choice is yours.
Whether you prefer fine dining or quick and casual, one bite and you’ll notice the difference. But don’t take our word for it, tasting is believing. Join us for lunch or one of our monthly themed dinners and let Chef Baker show off his culinary skills.Rockland Place Dining Services Director, John Murray is a great asset to our community. With over 25 years of restaurant and dining services experience from Italian Restaurants to the hotel and food services industry, he is well prepared to create the culinary masterpieces our residents love.
Food is Chef John's true passion in life, so along with creative cooking in the dining room, residents enjoy his creative cooking classes through Watermark University.
With an eye for ambience, great presentation and a flair for the simple as well as the fanciest in dishes, Chef John is a key player on the Rockland Place team.
