Financial Systems


Lawson

Lawson integrates accounts payable, general ledger and fixed asset details. Communities use Lawson to streamline business processes, capitalize on business intelligence and plan for the future. Completely accessible via the Internet, Lawson’s open architecture has the flexibility to integrate with virtually any legacy system or hardware.


Invoice and Purchasing System

Watermark utilizes a paperless, Internet-based invoice and purchasing system. Invoices are centrally processed in Tucson where they are either received digitally by vendors or scanned into the system to be approved electronically. Purchase orders are also initiated electronically and prior approvals are required. This provides Watermark with exceptional financial controls and audit capabilities. National contracts are also entered into the system to ensure that communities receive the benefit of Watermark’s purchasing power.


Keane

Keane provides billing functions for resident service accounts. This HIPAA compliant program generates resident statements, tracks resident billing history, manages accounts receivable, and generates bills for third-party payers such as insurance companies and co-payment providers. Keane also interfaces between the clinical systems in the skilled nursing environment and the various methods for billing and collecting from public reimbursement sources such as Medicare and Medicaid


ADP

Watermark uses proprietary ADP programs for timekeeping, attendance, payroll, paycheck reconciliation, and garnishments as well as quarterly and annual employment tax returns. Review of timecards, processing of new hires and terminations, and maintenance of benefit enrollment documents are completed at the community level, while other payroll-related functions such as defined benefit plan contributions, pension program reconciliations, and general payroll oversight functions are the responsibility of the team at Watermark.


Health Care

CareTracker

CareTracker is a unique data collection and reporting system that's helping Watermark Retirement Communities avoid the limitations of a file-based system. This integrated technology greatly reduces the possibility of human error and inaccuracies. CareTracker uses wall-mounted touch screen devices to process, support and track care and charges and immediately alerts users in the case of inconsistencies and non-compliance. CareTracker makes it easy to record and track accurate and complete information giving a much clearer picture of the resident's true condition. Because of CareTracker, we can spend time with people, not paper.


Keane

Used in communities that provide skilled nursing services, VistaKeane’s clinical software tracks and analyzes assessment information about resident health care needs, thus providing a foundation for our Quality Assurance program. VistaKeane interfaces seamlessly with Keane’s billing function to provide communities with clinical needs-tracking and provider billing.


AL Wizard

AL Wizard is a robust resident health assessment software package that assures each Watermark community has the most current and complete contact information, details, face sheets, and assessments of resident health. In Watermark assisted living and memory care programs billing is keyed to a tiered system based on the health care "points" generated by AL Wizard. As residents reach a higher tier of care, they are billed accordingly. As a result of knowing exactly how much care is needed for each resident, labor can be appropriately assigned by managers and care is appropriately billed in the business office.

Watermark Connect

Watermark Connect is a proprietary, web-based software that delivers management information, tools, online training, best practices and resources to Watermark communities. Because it’s Internet-based, Watermark Connect ensures that associates have the appropriate tools and resources they need, when they need them, day or night. It’s a great way to tell the stories of our communities and residents and keep everyone up to date on initiatives and breakthroughs.


Micromain

Micromain is a state-of-the-art work order and preventative maintenance software program that analyzes the time to complete each work order, assigns work to the various maintenance employees, and projects expected capital expenses and replacements. Maintenance costs can be compared to replacement costs and past repairs of capital assets can be analyzed for cost effectiveness. Scheduled preventative maintenance automatically generates work orders at the appropriate times.
