East Village Place Hosts Father’s Day Car Show East Longmeadow, MA – In celebration of Father’s Day, East Village Place will host our 2nd Annual Car Show on Sunday, June 15th from 10 am to 1:00 pm. We anticipate a variety of mint condition classic cars to fill the parking lot. Residents, families, friends, staff and community visitors are invited to get a close up look at the cars, as well as enjoy a family friendly day complete with live 50’s music, steamed hot dogs with all the fixins’, popcorn, and cotton candy. You can’t ask for a better way to spend Father’s Day. Doris & Ray Messenger, residents at East Village Place, fondly remember the summer of 1950 when they transformed their Ford Coupe by adding a bed in the back seat and a luggage rack to hold a storage trunk full of belongings to make a fun filled memorable cross country trip. “We’re looking forward to seeing all the cars, but especially the classic Fords at the Car Show.
