The Watermark at East Hill, formerly East Hill Woods, SOUTHBURY - The Watermark at East Hill, formerly East Hill Woods, announced its new executive director, Michelle Bettigole, who will oversee the community's overall day-to-day operations. "I am delighted to be joining The Watermark at East Hill family at such an exciting time in this community's nearly 17-year history," said Ms. Bettigole. "I welcome the opportunities to use my experience and apply it in providing for an overall lifestyle that encourages healthy, vibrant living at every age." Ms. Bettigole has a background in quality management, strategic planning, team building and finance, having served in top positions where senior services were provided. "Michelle is a dynamic, progressive leader who will continue the Watermark tradition of providing an extraordinary community where associates and residents are encouraged to express their true selves," said David Barnes, president of Watermark Retirement Communities, the new owner of The Watermark at East Hill. "We are pleased to have a person of her caliber, with such an impressive record in management, leadership and health services join our team at Watermark. We know she will take this thriving community to new heights." Ms. Bettigole holds master of science degrees in management from Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute in Troy, N.Y., and nursing management and policy from Yale University in New Haven, respectively. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing from St. Joseph College in West Hartford.
