Watermark Retirement Communities, MedCore Partners and TNRG are creating a 230-residence senior living community in Georgetown, TX. Situated on over 13 acres near the south entrance to Sun City, The Hacienda at Georgetown will be intentionally designed and forward-thinking. Construction on the 270,000 square foot project is expected to begin summer 2020 for an anticipated opening date of late 2021.
Phase I of the resort-style senior living campus will offer 125 independent living, 80 assisted living and 20 memory care residences. Studio, one- and two-bedroom residences will be offered on a monthly rental basis. A second phase will add 90 independent living residences to the project, bringing the total residence count to 315.
The community will be a senior living community that brings together the best in revolutionary design and innovative programming. With roots in the hospitality industry, it will be community that promotes each resident’s well-being and vibrant longevity through extraordinary design and programming.
Architecture and design will feature the best of regional influences with plentiful use of local stone and wood, ample windows – many floor to ceiling – and open, flexible floor plans that invite a comfortable indoor/outdoor lifestyle that will take advantage of Georgetown’s lengthy and beautiful shoulder seasons. Backed by a robust suite of services grounded in a concierge model, community amenities will showcase food, music and wellness. Several destination dining venues (a fine dining venue, a café, an open-air courtyard and a bar) will include a full-service restaurant open to the public. A specially designed outdoor amphitheater will be a destination music venue. A fully-equipped wellness center will feature a salon and spa, multiple activity venues, a state-of-the-art fitness center, club rooms, a theater, a meditation garden and a resort-caliber pool.
