Annual Poetry Reading Features The Watermark at 3030 Park Independent Living Residents

May 14 2018
What talent or skill would you like to learn and develop?  How does writing poetry sound? The residents at The Watermark at 3030 Park Independent Living have an amazing range of talents and skills as witnessed by the poems written and read by our residents at a local annual poetry reading event the group attended.  Keeping her passion for poetry alive, Trumbull, Connecticut business owner Portia Antonio of Pure Poetry invited us back for a second year to be readers and guests for a special night celebrating a multitude of amazing literary works.  Residents Gail Rutkin, Irene Backelenick and Gloria Sugarman all read their poems to the group.  Gail also treated the audience to a special reading from her book, Rejoice, which was published in 2015. It's clear to see that at The Watermark at 3030 Park, every resident continues to learn, grow and thrive.
