A "Surprise" Dance

February 21 2018
We had a secret dance performance in the works for several months and recently put our plans into action. One of our current resident’s daughters, Sandy, has been dancing for about 4 years at our local BlueBallRoom. Sandy enjoys dancing and it is a passion of hers, but unfortunately her mom, Christine, has never been able to see her dance. Whenever she would invite her mom, Christine would say that it would be too much for her. So that set the plan in motion and we decided to bring the performance to her! Our main lobby was re-arranged and the stage was set for the big surprise. We escorted Christine into our lobby and her front row spot, but did not let her in on the secret as of yet. With Sandy and her dance partner, Valentine, tucked away we made the special announcement. What a moment to see Christine glow as her daughter glided across the floor during their routine.  With tears in her eyes Christine said that it was a “dream come true, just beautiful”. This was certainly yet another proud mother/daughter moment that they were able to share. If you are interested in taking dance lessons or see what they have to offer, you can check out the BlueBallRoom at the following link: http://www.blueballroom.net
