We keep telling our residents that you're never too old to become a Watermark University instructor. Town Center resident Mary Ida Hunt takes this philosophy seriously, as she showed us yesterday at our Resident Lunch & Learn Program. Mary Ida presented a program that was both informational and humorous in front of an audience of nearly 60 Town Center neighbors. She spoke about her history as a student and then a professional in the field of speech therapy. With a (young) friend sitting nearby who currently works in the field there to fill in the changes and challenges of speech therapy in today's world, 100-year-old Mary Ida engaged everyone with tales of a lifetime of work and a passion for her career, while bringing smiles to the faces of her Town Center family.
