As Director of Capital and Plant Operations, John oversees the strategic planning, development, deployment, and operational management of our communities and capital across all regions at Watermark. John has been an integral part of our organization for several years, most recently serving as National Director of Facilities Management. During this time, he has demonstrated exceptional stewardship of our brand and resources. His experience and innovative approach have been instrumental in the success of numerous projects and initiatives. Beyond his professional accomplishments, John embodies the values and culture of our organization. His professionalism, integrity, and collaborative spirit resonate deeply with our mission to provide exceptional senior living environments. With over 25 years of Facilities Management leadership experience—all in the senior living industry, including roles at Sunrise Senior Living and Senior Lifestyle — John has successfully led FM teams across 200+ senior living communities in 30 states. His extensive expertise in capital planning, preventative maintenance, project management, contract management, fire and life safety systems, disaster planning/emergency management, and regulatory compliance has made him a trusted leader within our organization.
