History

Blue Bell’s roots date back to the 1700s, when the area was known as Pigeontown. The community later took its name from the historic Blue Bell Inn, a local landmark that still reflects the area’s Colonial past.

Over time, Blue Bell grew into one of Montgomery County’s most established communities, known for its historic character, residential neighborhoods, local businesses, and easy access to Philadelphia.
