The Hacienda at Georgetown™ was recently featured in an article published by The Williamson County Sun for its celebration and fundraiser to kick off Williamson County’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s®.

The event featured food, drinks, and entertainment, including dancing, a photo booth, face painting, and a dunk tank. The community ended up raising more than $6,000 for Alzheimer’s research.

“When anyone is given a scary diagnosis, it’s isolating,” said Shannon Eller, development manager at the Capital of Texas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. “This walk shows you’re not alone.”

Read more about how The Hacienda’s members participated in the festivities.
