The Battle of the Legacy Chefs

It’s that delicious time again – our Taste of Legacy on May 19! This much-anticipated event will bring together all nine Legacy communities to Legacy at Clover Blossom in Rochester (100 McAuley Drive) from 5:00pm–9:00pm. Our talented executive chefs will battle head to head as they create a comfort food dish that represents themselves and their community, showcasing flavors or culinary techniques highlighting their background. The chef’s booth for each community will even be decorated to match their dish. We’re into food synchronicity.

Gleaming Penfield Trophies will be awarded in three categories. Attendees of this delectable event will vote for the People’s Choice winner. Best Presentation will be determined by a panel of well-known Rochesterians. And the executive chefs and their teams will vote on Chef’s Choice.

 

Wine and Dine 

Lounge under the twinkly lights by our outdoor fire pits and enjoy the 18-piece big band sound of Greece Jazz Band as they perform in the Courtyard from 5:30pm–7:30pm. There will be a complimentary wine bar and refreshing signature cocktails thanks to our wonderful sponsors. Luscious desserts will be provided by various local vendors around Rochester. A complimentary shuttle to and from the Mercy High School parking lot will also be available for all guests. 

 

Proceeds support Watermark for Kids

Tickets are $50 for nonresidents and $25 for residents. Purchase your tickets here. There will be more than 30 exciting raffle baskets to bid on. ALL ticket sales and raffle sales support our nonprofit organization Watermark for Kids. It will be a spectacular, can’t-miss event full of adventure, creativity, and lots of fun!
