Ahmer leads the organization’s enterprise growth initiatives, with a focus on accelerating topline revenue through strategic partnerships, new market development, and innovative go-to-market strategies.
 
Before joining Watermark, Ahmer served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at Cook M&A Advisory Services, where he led deal origination and strategic advisory efforts across multiple industries. His work connected private equity firms and middle-market operators with high-value acquisition opportunities, fueling portfolio growth and competitive expansion.
 
Ahmer previously served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Enlivant, where he oversaw national sales performance and drove occupancy and revenue improvements across a multi-state senior living portfolio. His leadership strengthened regional sales execution, elevated talent development, and helped reposition the organization for sustained growth.
 
Earlier in his career, Ahmer spent more than seven years at Stericycle in progressive commercial leadership roles, including Director of Global Sales & Strategic Markets. He led strategic account growth, developed new business verticals, and drove multimillion-dollar revenue initiatives with some of the company’s most significant enterprise customers.
