An associate from Joshua Spring Senior Living was recently featured in an article published by The Standard Newspaper for the meaningful way she spends Grandparents Day, and every day, at the community.
Community Life Director Erika Johnson enjoys spending time with her husband’s grandfather, who also happens to be a resident at the community. Johnson says the many events offered by the community help to keep her loved one active and engaged.
“He’s really a grandfather to me, too,” she explained. “I suggested he take a tour of Joshua Springs just to see if he liked it, and he ended up loving it. It’s like I get to celebrate Grandparents Day every day.”
