When Juliet Bhola emigrated from Guyana seven years ago, the first job she found in the U.S. was at The Fountains at Millbrook. Lucky for us! She loves her role as a caregiver for Assisted Living residents, and the feeling is mutual. Each day she makes it her mission to help them feel and look their best. Her warmth and enthusiasm lift spirits and translate into smiles.
Juliet has a natural feel for what people like and how she can help them. She reaches out when they need her most, generously lending an ear or a shoulder. “Spending time with the ones who feel sad or lonely is most important to me,” she says.
When she’s not working, Juliet likes to garden and cook. While she doesn’t usually rely on cookbooks — preferring to use a pinch of this and a dash of that — she cooks everything from the heart and throws in plenty of love. She does cooking demos for us, too. Try her recipe for
Juliet’s Chicken Curry, and imagine you’re sharing a meal with this remarkable woman.
