The Watermark at Oro Valley was recently featured in a segment on KGUN 9 Tucson for the new way it brings residents together through their love of baking.
During the winter months, associate Victor Estrella leads residents in making homemade tamales. Now for the summer, he added a new spin on his cooking classes, teaching them how to bake dessert empanadas.
Victor’s recipes, along with community favorites including danishes and blueberry muffins, will be added to a cookbook for residents and associates to enjoy.
