The Watermark at Napa Valley Introduces Tech Support

Even the most tech-savvy among us can struggle with connectivity, software updates, and changing technology. Fortunately, at The Watermark at Napa Valley, help is close at hand thanks to our very own tech concierge, Frank Diaz. Born and raised in Napa Valley, Frank is a true Wine Country local. A first-generation American, his parents immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico to give Frank and his siblings more opportunities to flourish in the future. It was here he developed a passion for all things related to technology. “I grew an interest in modern technology due to video games at a young age, which then led me to explore all aspects of technology,” says Frank. He also discovered a joy for sharing his knowledge with others. From helping a resident connect with family over Zoom to assisting another in updating their tablet to helping someone access Facebook or Instagram for the first time, Frank transforms tech issues into opportunities to connect. “The patience I have when it comes to technology issues one may have helps me provide an exceptional service for our community, because not only will I get the job done, but I’ll also be teaching our members to be more connected to modern technology and all it has to offer,” says Frank. Using his tech talents to help those who want to improve their computer skills or troubleshoot various tech issues, he is available on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 4pm, by appointment. Frank also leads a Virtual Reality Workshop on Fridays from 10am to noon. It provides a fascinating deep dive into the world of virtual reality and the places it can transport you.
