Two residents from The Watermark at Marco Island were recently featured in an article published by WINK News for their marriage milestone — and how this year’s celebrations will be more meaningful.
Glenn and Mary Dubrucq are celebrating their 63rd anniversary after being separated for two years. The couple, who both faced health challenges, were living in different senior living communities before moving to The Watermark at Marco Island this year.
"It just makes all the difference in the world when you're used to being with a person for 20 years, and all of a sudden you're in two different locations," Mary said. "Now we're in the same location, and we can just see each other every day."
