The Hacienda at the Canyon® was recently featured in an article published by McKnight’s Senior Living for the ways it celebrates inclusivity.
Having earned platinum status through the SAGECare LGBTQ+ aging training program, the community is committed to helping its members live freely, openly, and without judgment.
“It’s super important for us to be able to provide a safe space for people to live their truth and to excel at things that they are really interested in that maybe they’ve never taken up before,” said Membership Director Jaysyn Landyn, who encourages members to look past stereotypes and pursue what they love.
“Having [programs] that are open to the entire community and not specifically segregated is important,” Jaysyn added.
