A beautiful new butterfly garden is taking shape at our community, thanks to the vision and generosity of Members Mr. and Mrs. Esler.
Having helped create a butterfly garden where they previously lived, the Eslers offered to start and sponsor one here. They selected a location, purchased flowers and plants, and shared their knowledge during an engaging Watermark University presentation about the important role butterflies play in our environment.
The garden soon inspired another creative idea. To help the nearby utility boxes blend more naturally into the setting, Members were invited to submit designs inspired by butterflies, nature, and the magic of the garden.
The response was filled with imagination and enthusiasm. Members gathered to view the artwork, discuss the different interpretations, and vote for their favorite design.
More than a garden beautification project, the experience encouraged Members to share their talents, try something new, and take pride in what they created together. We look forward to watching the garden—and the creativity surrounding it—continue to grow.
