The Hacienda Mission San Luis Rey was recently featured in an article published by ABC 10News San Diego for the memorable Grandparents Day it hosted — and how it brought plenty of smiles to its members.
High school student Bailey Leeder began bringing his improv comedy performances to the community so that his grandmother, member Miriam Cantor, could see him in action. The performances quickly became a hit, and Bailey and his group now perform regularly in front of the community’s members and associates.
"Every time I look over, she's smiling and laughing along … and it just makes me really happy to see her happy at the performances," Bailey said of his grandmother.
