Real stories. Helpful tools.
The best way to get a feel for a place is to hear from the people who live there. So let's start there.

Patrick
A man of many accolades – Veteran of the Year, deputy fire chief, champion fisherman – and he also happens to be the accordion-playing legend of East Village Place, part of the Watermark family of communities across the country.
“When I was in the fire department, I woke them up one minute before they had to get up,” Pat said, reminiscing about his accordion wake-up calls. “We continued it for quite a while. They all had a heck of good fun with it. And then when I made captain, they called me in before the chief’s board and they said, ‘you can’t do that anymore, you’re driving everyone crazy,’” he recalled with a hearty chuckle.

Carole
Carole was nervous when she first moved in. So she made a simple rule for herself: every time she stepped outside, she’d say hi to whoever she passed, whether she knew them or not. And that was all it took. Soon she'd made a close friend and within months, the "Three Musketeers" were born. Read more and listen to her story.
